Comp Ed
At Darmstadt Elementary School, we believe each student should be provided with opportunities to perform at the best of his or her ability. In keeping with this belief, we offer an assistance program for children who are having difficulty in Reading/Language Arts through the Compensatory Education Program (Comp Ed). This program is designed as a supplemental instructional program for third grade students. These student work daily in small groups for 30-45 minutes outside of their regular classroom with Mrs. Warren, the Comp Ed Reading Specialist. The groups are flexible in order to meet the needs of the students involved.
