Principal's Message

Mr. Joseph Malloy, Principal, Darmstadt ES/MS

Dear Students and Parents,

     I hope that you are visiting our website because you are going to be joining us at Darmstadt ES/MS.  We have a wonderful school where each student is valued and supported.  As a Department of Defense Dependents' School (DoDDS), our educational program compares favorably with stateside schools.  Our professional staff comes from many areas of the United States , bringing their respective state's background to this unique environment.

School policies have been designed to provide the best possible learning environment. The combination of fully qualified educators, a strong DoDDS curriculum and our policies and procedures has enabled us to gain and maintain full accreditation from the North Central Association of Colleges and Schools.
     We are committed to implementing the very best practices from the research on effective schools.   Our grade level teams work together toward success for EVERY student.   The advisory program guarantees that each student has an adult advocate at all times.   Students find that we have many activities and special programs which enhance our academic program.   Parents are always welcome at the school and are encouraged to volunteer and/or be leaders in our School Advisory Committee or Parent Teacher Organization.
